Re-form Heritage transforms historic buildings at risk for the benefit of the local and wider community. We create places that inspire, educate and connect people with their past.
We are a Stoke-on-Trent based charity. Our flagship heritage building Middleport Pottery has become a blueprint for future restoration projects.
Through public and private funding Middleport Pottery was saved from closure and underwent substantial remodeling and renovation, transforming it into a visitor attraction and centre for creative businesses.
In December 2023, Re-Form Heritage was appointed the Heritage Development Trust for Stoke-on-Trent.
In December 2023, 12 charities and social enterprises across the U.K. were empowered to take over and transform at risk high street buildings.
The aim of the new trust programme is to help kick-start the regeneration of key heritage sites within Stoke-on-Trent and is funded by the Architectural Heritage Fund and The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The AHF received 122 expressions of interest for the Heritage Development Trust from organisations across the U.K. and Re-Form Heritage was delighted to be selected as one of the 12 funded trusts.
Our vision as the heritage development trust for Stoke-on-Trent is to play a leading role in restoring and rejuvenating the city’s internationally significant built heritage, and, through a sustainable business case and operational delivery, breathe new life into these assets, helping to drive the regeneration of Stoke’s local communities.
