- From Newcastle-under-lyme. Bus 98 to Newcastle Street, Middleport followed by approx 7 minute walk to Port Street

- From Hanley Bus Station. Bus 8A to Ford Green Road, Smallthorne. Then change to Bus 98 (towards Newcastle) to Newcastle Street Middleport. Then approx a 7 minute walk to Port Street

Walking / Cycling

Middleport is approximately 15 minute walk or a 4 minute cycle ride from the centre of Burslem. It can be accessed from the Port Street side, or from the tow path (which is open to cyclists) opposite Middleport on the other side of the canal.
