Hello everyone

As you are aware Middleport Pottery is closed for the foreseeable and the majority of staff are being furloughed during this period. The building may be closed, but we should not let that stop us keeping in touch, sharing messages of support and where possible, help one another during this difficult time.

We're incredibly fortunate to have a such a dedicated team of volunteers who not only support the team and the charity, but also each other. It goes without saying that many of you have formed close friendships and developed new social networks - whether you've been with us for years, or just a few months. We're already looking forward to welcoming you back to the pottery, but, in the meantime, here are some ways in which we can keep in touch. See below.

p.s Sorry, about the rather candid photo above. It's the only one that has most of you present. I hope we can all get together soon so I can take a more professional photo! ~ Sarah

It's always nice to see a friendly face!

Couple of points...

- If you have wifi in your home, this is a free service. If you are using your phone, check that it is connected to your wifi beforehand. Many broadband providers have recently removed their data limits for fixed-line broadband. Read more here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-52091359

- Maximum of four users at any time.

- Anyone with this link can access the meeting room, therefore, please do not share this link with non-volunteers.

- And finally, don't forget, you're on camera!

To arrange a 'meeting' contact the person you wish to talk to via email, or social media to arrange a time. If you are happy to share your email address with other volunteers, please click on the 'Consent' button in the email we sent you recently to record your preference. If you've not received this email, please check your junk folder.
